SARALE EXTENDS BCRA POINTS LEAD WITH JOHNNY KEY CLASSIC SUPER SERIES WIN

Sarale started the 25-lap feature from sixth and charged into the lead by lap four. Santa Cruz’ Logan Mitchell, the defending Western Midget Racing champion, fell to the back of the field then made a charge of his own. Mitchell drove into second by lap 12 and went on to win his fifth WMR event of the season in the race within a race.

Sarale led Mitchell, Galt’s Matt Streeter, Napa’s Brody Petrie, and San Jose’s Nicholas Leonard at the checkered flag. Sarale and Mitchell won the heat races. Sarale was also the winner of the West Evans Motorsports and BR Motorsports Hard Charger

The BCRA/WMR California Super Series’ next race will also be at a marquee Watsonville Speedway event, tackling the 16th annual Howard Kaeding Classic on July 18.
