CORBIN RUESCHENBERG RETURNING TO CALIFORNIA FOR HAGOPIAN MEMORIAL

MESA, ARIZONA (September 23, 2021) – Mesa, Ariz.’s Corbin Rueschenberg will return to California for this Friday and Saturday’s Mark Hagopian Memorial at Keller Auto Raceway Plaza Park in Visalia, competing for the $5,000-to-win Super 600 prize and the Perpetual Macgyver Trophy. Rueshenberg will also compete in the $1500-to-win Non-Wing class as well.

Rueschenberg has been barn storming across the United States competing primarily in the Lucas Oil NOW600 Series, accumulating five Restricted wins and seven total wins in 2021. His Restricted victories place him just 44 points out of the championship lead. He also ranks fifth in the Winged A-Class championship with NOW600 as well.

He will drive a pair of Gen III Driven Chassis this weekend in California. Friday’s action includes a regular format for Non-Wing and a Twin-25s format for Super 600, where the field will be split across 25-lap main events with the top-three from each advancing into Saturday’s 50-lap feature. Saturday’s action includes a pole shuffle for the locked in cars and a complete program of qualifying and heat races for the non-locked in competitors. The upcoming schedule for Rueschenberg includes the conclusion to the NOW600 championship season and participating in the KKM Giveback Classic in October at Port City Raceway.
