Fresno’s Colton Key won his first career Delta Non-Wing feature, topping a 21-car turnout in the 30-lap main event. Defending champion Nikko Panella of Stockton was the night’s fastest qualifier. TK O’Brien, 2015 champion Brandon Carey, and Eric Botelho won the heat races.

Key and Panella darted from the fourth row to the top two positions after 30-laps of racing. Carey led the feature from the pole position. Three-wide action saw Panella jump into second on a restart over Key. Key then reclaimed the second position and turned his sights onto Carey. Key rolled the bottom on lap 13 restart to nab the lead. Panella then took over second. Carey settled for third followed by O’Brien in fourth and Botelho in fifth.

Raio Salmon led qualifying for the winged Super 600 action before Andrew Smith and Isabel Barnes split the heat races. Smith then won the 25-lap feature for his first career Super win at Delta Speedway, after starting third on the grid. Smith quickly drove into the lead by the third lap of competition. Alex Panella of Stockton slowed on the backstretch on lap nine to draw a caution. Nikko Panella rolled the top to take the lead from Smith on the restart. Nikko accumulated a strong advantage before he too slowed with mechanical issues with just five laps remaining.

Smith inherited the lead and took the coveted checkered flag. Salmon finished second followed by former champion Logan Trevino, Kelvin Lewis, and Jeffrey Rosas.

Tracy’s Levi Osborne broke through with a victory in the growing Stock A-Class division at Delta Speedway. The Tracy driver led a field of 20 entries at the checkered flag.

Jason Maples of Petaluma qualified fastest. Cam Carraway and Trenten Helie were the heat race victors. Osborne withstood a crossover battle over the final four laps against Dash Duinkerken to claim victory. Maples, O’Brien, and Colin Kirby rounded out the top-five at the finish of the 25-lap feature.

An outstanding 19 Restricted entries hit the dirt with Haven Sherman scoring her second career Delta Restricted victory. Samantha Dozier led qualifying. Three heat races were held with Kevin Itkkanen, Sherman, and Bryson Sozinho splitting the ten lap contests. Sherman then won from the outside front row in the 25-lap feature. Sozhino ran second followed by Johnny Streeter of Galt, Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta, and Tikkannen.

Lucas Fenn of Oakley had a strong Jr. Sprints opening night with a heat race win and a feature victory on Saturday night. Santino Gonella finished second with heat race one winner Jayden Carey finishing third.
