LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (March 24, 2026) – The SPEARS CARS Tour West Pro Late Models and Limited Late Models invade The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this Saturday, with drivers from all over North America set for the Terrible’s Showdown. An expected entry list of two dozen Late Models per each class take on the track with a 125-lap Pro Late Model feature and a 100-lap Late Model jaunt.
Franks Radio Legends Tour West is also competing. The Local Racing Series presented by Star Nursery is also on tap, including the NASCAR-sanctioned Modifieds, Street & Factory Stocks, and Mini Stocks. INEX Bandoleros are also on the card for the sport’s youngest drivers.
Grandstands open at 2:30pm on Saturday night with the first features at 2:40pm. Qualifying follows with opening ceremonies at 5:30pm. CARS Tour West, INEX Bandoleros, INEX Legends, and NASCAR Modifieds follow. Race fans can score free tickets while supplies last at their local Star Nursery locations.

Pro Late Models made their first two appearances at the .375-mile speedway in 2025, with Jace Hale using an October victory to aid his championship efforts. Linny White of Colton, Calif. won the Vegas debut of the series last April.
An outstanding field of 35 cars participated in the season opener at Tucson Speedway for the Chilly Willy Soundgear 125 with Kevin Harvick prevailing in a thrilling main event over his son Keelan. Keelan returns for round two hungry for the checkered flag. Several new faces join the series for round two in Las Vegas, with seventh place Tucson finisher Cody Dempster of Parker, Colorado as the next highest finisher entered.
The entry list features nine states along with three Canadian provinces represented. Entries include California Super Late Model veterans Eric Schmidt and Austin Herzog, rookie upstarts James Hamlin of Oregon City, Oregon and Bristol Borneman of Ramona, Calif.
SPEARS CARS Tour West Super Late Model contenders Taylor Mayhew and Vito Cancilla are entered for Pro Late Model action along with the series debut for Carson City, Nevada’s Bobby Hodges. Jaron Giannini and Kyle Keller will defend home turf hailing out of the Las Vegas area.
Saturday’s Limited Late Model 100-lap feature represents round three for the SPEARS CARS Tour West in 2026. Jeffrey Peterson of Grand Terrace, Calif. has ruled Las Vegas in both the NASCAR local racing series and in the CARS Tour West. Peterson won a race-long duel with Tanner Huddleston for the Battle at the Bullring victory in February. Huddleston aims for a comeback this weekend.
Loomis’ Kenna Mitchell became the first female winner when she prevailed earlier this month at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The multi-time All American Speedway Limited and Super Late Model champion is also a full time competitor at the Bullring, bringing a deep level of Late Model experience into the race. At least half of the two dozen entries are competing at Las Vegas regularly, hoping to give the CARS Tour West regulars all they can handle.
Mitchell leads the CARS West championship by a scant three markers over Huddleston. Rookie Skyler Schoppe of Clovis ranks third followed by Brenden Ruzbarsky and Christian Bazen.
Local Racing Series points leaders at Las Vegas include Sam Jacks in the Modifieds, Ben Williams in the Mini Stocks, Don Geary in the Street Stocks, Sean Salazar in the Terrible’s Legends, and Dylan Mancini in the Terrible’s Bandoleros.
Friday’s activities include practice for all divisions competing along with Friday INEX points features for both Legends and Bandoleros.
