Jeffrey Pahule of Brentwood and Livemore’s Jarrett Heimlich round out the top-five. Non-Wing competes in a 30-lap feature on Saturday night.
Panella enjoys a 20-point lead in Super 600 over opening night winner Colton Key of Fresno. Salmon, Andrew Smith of Castro Valley, and Colton Huelsmann of Knightsen make up the balance of the top-five for the Winged division. 30-laps of feature racing is scheduled this weekend.
Two-time Delta Speedway Jr. Sprints champion Briggs Davis of Manteca has a nine point lead in the Restricted battle in 2025. Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta and Brodie Copeland of Los Banos are tied for second place. Bryson Sozinho of Hanford and Connor Penix of Clovis round fourth and fifth heading into Saturday’s 25-lap affair.
Former Outlaw Kart standout Landon Henry has quickly adapted to the Micro Sprints in the winged A-Class with the 13-year-old driver taking a scant three-point lead after the first two races. Lucas Mauldin of Rancho Murieta is in pursuit along with Tracy’s Kyle Fernandez, Vacaville’s Jackson Tardiff, and Placerville’s Clay Mibach with 25-laps of feature racing scheduled.
Lucas Fenn of Oakley has the narrowest points lead, leading Delta’s youngest drivers in Jr. Sprints by only two markers. Fenn leads Samantha Dozier of Vacaville, Easton Wright of Martinez, Logan Fenn, and Santino Gonella of Petaluma in the championship. Lucas Fenn and Wright have split the 20-lap features held this season.
