LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE AS PAHULE AND STONE SWEEP DIXON – AGAIN!

BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA (July 9, 2019) – Jeffrey Pahule, Jr. and Austin Stone swept the racing at Dixon Speedway yet again, grabbing both the Restricted and Non Wing feature events aboard their #44x Micro Sprints sponsored by Teletech Communications. The victory for Pahule extends his points lead in the division as well with seven points races in the books.

Brentwood’s Pahule was third quickest in hot laps and followed that with a third best time in time trials against the 13 cars on hand. The track was very fast with Paule running an 11.056 second lap.

The heat race saw Pahule start third and immediately challenge for second. After falling back to fourth, Pahule steered his white, black, and green Ten-J Chassis to the top side to move up into third. In the dash, Pahule started on the outside front row. He used a crossover move to go two-for-one exiting turn four on the second lap to take the lead and never look back for the win.

The main event was a tidy 20 lap feature where Pahule stretched out a comfortable lead including running his best lap of the event on lap nine. He won by a full second and nearly three seconds over the third place finishing car for his second Dixon win of the season!

Austin Stone of Sacramento drove the team’s Pace Chassis in the Non Wing competition fresh off a victory the previous Saturday at Lemoore Raceway in the Hoosier Tire California Speedweek. After running fourth quick in hot laps, Stone topped the top 24 entries in time trials with a 11.382 second lap.

He drove fourth to second in his heat race then won the dash after taking the lead on lap four. Despite some company from Chad Laughton, Stone led all 25 laps of the feature including maintaining the lead over several restarts.

With the Dixon sweep in the bag, the Pahule Motorsports team will return to Delta Speedway presented by Financial Center Credit Union on Saturday night. Saturday’s event is the Stockton Heat Night at the Races with a great field of cars expected. Pahule is within arms length of that track championship as well, ranking third in the tough series at the 1/7th mile dirt oval.

Jeffrey Pahule wants to thank: Mom, Dad, Teletech Communications, NorCal Builders, Shawn Laeber with Motion Media Wraps, Joe W. Lewis Snap-On Tools, Russ Seros with Seros Racing Engines, and Austin Stone.
