SECOND PLACE FINISH AT DIXON CONTINUES GREAT START FOR PAHULE

BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA (April 30, 2019) – 11 year-old Jeffrey Pahule, Jr. is off to a great start to his 2019 Restricted Micro Sprint campaign, driving to a second place finish on Saturday night at Dixon Speedway. Pahule has racked up four top-five finishes including two runner-ups and an average finish of fourth during a busy spring.

Driving the #44x Teletech Communications Driven Chassis, Pahule timed in fourth quick at 11.302 seconds. He started third in his heat race and wasted little time going to the front. Pahule knifed into the lead by the exit of turn two and never looked back for a 4.188 second win in the ten lap event.

Bolstered by that performance, he finished fourth in the dash and set his sights on the feature. He started outside the second row and immediately moved into second position. The 20 lap main event went non-stop with Pahule trying to reel in Oregon’s Ashton Torgerson. Despite running his best lap of the race at 11.211 on the 14th lap, he was unable to make the decisive move for the win.

With a second place finish in hand, Pahule ranks third in the Dixon Speedway points while also ranking third in the Delta Speedway points standings. The Delta Speedway presented by Financial Center Credit Union season continues on Saturday with its third points race of the year.

Jeffrey Pahule wants to thank: Mom, Dad, Teletech Communications, NorCal Builders, Shawn Laeber with Motion Media Wraps, Russ Seros with Seros Racing Engines, and Austin Stone.
