TENTH PLACE FINISH AT CAL CUP FOR PAHULE

BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA (October 16, 2018) – Jeffrey Pahule, Jr. and his #44x Teletech Communications / Motivated Racewear team traveled south to Lemoore Raceway for last weekend’s Cal Cup. Pahule drove his Pace Chassis to a tenth place finish in the Restricted division during Saturday night’s main event.

Qualifying, heat races, and qualifiers were on tap for Friday night. Pahule ran third in hot laps before timing in 13th with a 11.984 second lap. In his first heat race, Pahule advanced from fourth to second. In the second heat race, he advanced from fourth to third. The performances were enough to line up eighth in the Friday night 15 lap qualifier, where he finished eighth as well.

The eighth place finish qualified Pahule directly into the 30 lap Cal Cup feature on Saturday night. After the three qualifiers were completed, Pahule lined up eighth out of the 25 starters for the feature.

He was involved in an incident on the opening lap that bounced him back to 15th place, but he immediately regained focus and started to chip away at the field. By lap 21 he found himself up to 11th. He then reeled in Eli Bookout and claimed the tenth position with just two laps to go. Pahule finished tenth in the final rundown.

Pahule’s next race will be Dixon Speedway on Saturday night as he continues to fight for a top-five in the Restricted championship points. He will then compete in the $1500 to win, $100 to start Turkey Bowl XVII October 26-27 at Delta Speedway. The 6th Annual Lonnie Kaiser Memorial at Dixon Speedway is November 2nd – 3rd.

Jeffrey Pahule wants to thank: Mom, Dad, Teletech Communications, NorCal Builders, Shawn Laeber with Motion Media Wraps, Russ Seros with Seros Racing Engines, Austin Stone, Salmon Motorsports, Ryan Timmons, and Bob and Tiffanie Panella.
