PAHULE SCORES TOP-TENS DURING KING OF CALIFORNIA WEEEKEND

BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA (October 8, 2018) – Jeffrey Pahule, Jr. competed in Friday and Saturday’s season finale for the King of California at Dixon and Delta Speedway, bringing home a pair of top-ten finishes.

Friday night at Dixon Speedway saw 21 Restricted Micro Sprints in action with Pahule timing in seventh quickest. After finishing second in his heat race, Pahule turned his attention to the 20 lap feature. Pahule ran as high as fourth on the opening lap before falling back to tenth by lap 12. He rode in tenth until the final lap when he drove up into ninth at the checkered flag. One final points race remains at Dixon on October 20th with Pahule running fourth in the track championship standings.

Pahule then took his #44x Pace Chassis sponsored by Teletech Communications and Motivated Racewear to Delta Speedway on Saturday night. A strong 29 car field turned up in Stockton for the final points race for both Delta and King of California. One of the fastest qualifying sessions in the Restricted division in some time saw Pahule’s 10.317 only strong enough for 12th overall. Pahule then ran third in the fourth heat race to qualify into the main event.

Jeffrey raced in the vicinity of the top-two Delta championship contenders throughout the 25 lap race, coming across the stripe a few car lengths behind track champion Caeden Steele with an eighth place finish. Pahule finished sixth in the final points with six top-tens and a best finish of second.

He will look to continue his momentum into the special event portion of the season. Following the Dixon championship on October 20th, Pahule will compete in the $1500 to win Turkey Bowl XVII October 26-27 at Delta Speedway. The 6th Annual Lonnie Kaiser Memorial at Dixon Speedway is November 2nd – 3rd.

Jeffrey Pahule wants to thank: Mom, Dad, Teletech Communications, NorCal Builders, Shawn Laeber with Motion Media Wraps, Russ Seros with Seros Racing Engines, Austin Stone, Salmon Motorsports, and Bob and Tiffanie Panella.
