DALTON HILL TO RACE FOR LACAZE RACING AT TROPHY CUP

MADERA RANCHOS, CALIFORNIA (May 4, 2018) – Madera Ranchos’ Dalton Hill has teamed with Anthony LaCaze to compete in the 2018 Trophy Cup, October 18-20 at the Tulare Thunderbowl.  Hill will climb aboard the LaCaze Racing #19 GF1, Panella Racing Engines entry for the largest 360 race on the West Coast.

Hill races both wing and non-wing 360 Sprint Cars.  His 2018 season opened impressively when he finished third in the USAC West Coast 360 season opener in March at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Engine woes have sidelined the driver from Sprint Car competition with a renewed focus on Micro Sprints.  Hill is pursuing additional opportunities in Sprint Cars and will race his Non-Wing Micro Sprint at Delta Speedway and in the California Speedweek in 2018.

“I can’t thank Anthony, Tucker and Paris LaCaze enough for this opportunity,” Hill said.  “Racing in the Trophy Cup is a dream for any driver in California.  I’m glad to have a great shot at a piece of the $200,000 purse.”

LaCaze Racing is a graduate of Micro Sprint competition at Delta Speedway where young Tucker LaCaze of Rocklin, CA was a multi-time feature winner.  Engine builder Bob Panella also serves as the promoter of Delta Speedway along with his wife Tiffanie.  The Micro Sprint-based effort in the Trophy Cup will give a lot of supporters something to cheer for.

LaCaze Racing thanks its sponsors: Reliable Tire (West Sacramento), Freedom Industrial Coatings (Loomis), Sidelifter (West Sacramento), and Motion Media Wraps (Roseville).
